My brilliant partner is Ted Schweitzer, who retired this past winter as senior counsel at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and has agreed to work with us. Ted has a  B.A. Phi Beta Kappa from Duke, a Master's degree from Yale, a Ph.D in English Literature from Cornell (winning the prize for the best doctoral thesis within the entire university), and a J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was encouraged to apply for the kind of judicial clerkship that would have most likely led to clerking for the Supreme Court. Ted had a family to support by then, however, and felt he had to enter private practice immediately.

Ted writes masterfully, has one of the sharpest minds around, and is the nicest person in the universe, to boot! WHen you sign on with Farber Legal, you are acquiring one of the most inquisitive and sympathetic souls you will ever meet.

His retirement from government service is our good fortune, and adds more talent, vibrancy, razor sharp thinking and compassion to what we already like to think of as a dynamic, fluid legal practice.
